🍳 Today’s breakfast combo:
Corn Oatmeal Milk Porridge + Fresh Shrimp and Vegetable Omelette + Buttered Sliced Fried Buns + Warm Milk
🔪 Steps to make:
🌽 Corn Oatmeal Milk Porridge:
1️⃣ Add fresh water to the pot (just enough to cover the corn kernels), bring to a boil over high heat, then add the sweet corn kernels and icing sugar, and cook over medium heat for 3 minutes to allow the sweetness of the corn to precipitate out
2️⃣ Sprinkle in the oatmeal and stir with a spoon in a circular motion for 10 seconds to prevent sticking to the bottom, continue to cook for 1 minute until the soup thickens.
3️⃣ Let it stand for 1 ½ minutes to cool down to about 70 ℃, slowly pour in the refrigerated milk (to retain the nutrient activity), the residual temperature will naturally stimulate the milk flavor
4️⃣ Cover the pot with a lid and simmer for 2 minutes, gently stir the milk and porridge soup before drinking.
🍤 Fresh shrimp and vegetable quiche:
1️⃣ Dice shrimp, mix with beaten egg and chopped lettuce, season with 2 tablespoons of flour, a little salt and chicken essence
2️⃣ Heat oil in a pan and pour in the batter, fry over medium-low heat until the bottom side is set (about 2 minutes), flip and fry for another 1 minute until golden brown
🥖 Butter fried sliced buns:
1️⃣ Eggs beaten with a little milk until gluten-free
2️⃣ Slice the buns 1.5cm thick and quickly dip them in the egg wash to make sure both sides are battered.
3️⃣ Preheat a pan with thin oil over medium heat, reduce the heat and add the sliced buns, fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy, sprinkle with black sesame seeds before serving.
💡 Key Tip:
💡Tips: Use quick-cooking oatmeal to make it easier to cook.
Replace shrimp with diced ham and lettuce with spinach.
Keep the heat low when frying the sliced buns to avoid burning.
Prepare all ingredients overnight to save time.
This fusion breakfast takes about 25 minutes to make and is a well-balanced and energizing meal for busy mornings.
Starting your day with a simple meal is the best way to start your day!
